So I just replaced the infamous squeaky clutch pedal with the steel one, squeak is gone, yah! but noticed a couple odd things... the clutch feel is different as it seems like I have to push the clutch all the way to the floor to change gears smoothly, and the other thing is that once in a while, when it’s depressed all a the way to the floor the pedal stays there occasionally for a split second and is very disconcerting... any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks!

Lube the pedal parts to stop the sticking. I always floor the clutch pedal to be absolutely sure it is totally disengaged. If the clutch is not dragging, don't worry about it...
