I have an Iron Duke that generally runs and drives fine however seeming not consistently it dies when letting off the throttle but only under certain conditions.
For example if i was to reverse into a parking spot giving it enough throttle to grab clutch and go, and was to let off the throttle entirely it bogs down to ~400/500 rpm and sometimes recovers and sometimes stalls. Or if I'm in stop and go traffic and right as I'm about to go and if someone was to cut me off and I immediately let off all throttle it does the same thing. I don't seem to have any issues driving normally, and coming to a stop it doesn't stall. It only seems to happen when I'm giving it a small amount of throttle and then immediately releasing it, and that only happens occasionally. Also historically I've had issues with a high idle but I've since worked those out, and I don't think it's a fuel pressure issue since I have a pressure sensor in-line and it doesn't seem to drop when it happens.
Within the last 6 months I've swapped out the IAC, MAP sensor, O2 sensor, TPS sensor (adjusted it accordingly), air cleaner gasket, valve cover gasket, EGR gasket, made sure EGR can move, all new vacuum lines, cleaned grounds, spark plug wires, distributor cap, ignition coil, and probably a bunch more I can't think of right now.
Otherwise it's a great car and no major issues.
Any insight is appreciated!

IAC needs Clean passage thru TBI and maybe the Intake manifold. EGR need same thru the intake man.
TBI wears throttle parts and can leak more air, close more, wear idle stop screw/arm or even do all three. Major Shaft wear is hard or impossible to fix and find a new unit or better body to install/rebuild. Minor problems might be fix by resetting idle stop. Might be but often won't help if TBI is bad out have any other problems like vacuum leaks, timing, etc. See my Cave, Vac Leaks and Emissions first then maybe Idle Stop------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
