This is so embarrassing it is even hard to ask, but......
I replaced my battery. Having done this more than a time or two, I paid no attention to how it was wired.
When I (thought) I was done I discovered left over wires!
I have two relatively small gauge wires (about 18 gauge) connected to a single terminal.
One of the small wires was connected to a bolt on the strut tower. Since that would be ground, I assume that the terminal with the two wires must go to the negative post of the battery.....it is sized appropriately to fit the post.
Where does the other wire go? I can't be more than a foot away since that is how long the left over wire is.
A blushing TIA,
Larry

He's not going to find a battery junction block on an 84. Ground location on head differs slightly between 4 and 6-cylinder engine.[This message has been edited by fierosound (edited 06-10-2020).]
