Rotate the crank to reload the valve lifters then try again. ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

it dosent help, have tried it plenty of times now , still no oil to that rockerarm. cam bearings was replaced by the machin shop, can it be that they are not installed correctly ? or can it be that my battery drill is not turning fast enuf ?

Took the pushrod out and shot some air inn to it , just to make sure it was open , but still no oil pressure on that arm.... when i installed the lifters i followed comp cams instructions to not prime them in oil over night , just install them dry. when i was doing the valve lash the first time lifters where not pumped up. Now when i did the valvelash a second time i could feel that all the lifters had been pumped up , included the one that dosent get any oil. So there is definitely oil coming inn to that lifter, but why isnt it going inn to the pushrod ????

Switch the rocker arm and push rod with a known good set. If still no oil at #5, the lifter may be the issue. If the swapped location is lacking oil, then it's either the rocker arm or the push rod. Although you did say the rod was clear.

It may be that the pushrod seat is plugged or the metering plate inside the lifter is faulty.

Thanks guys i found the problem.
When i was bleeding i was just using a extender with a socket on , when you are doing it that way the oil hole for the dis will be open , so you will have to good flow there. When the dis is inn you have something thats blocking and reducing the flow there. so I took an old dis and removed the gear that drives the camshaft , used it as a bleeding tool and bam oil on all the rockers inn no time , it only took a few seconds

My first time priming an engine, I did it your way and had oil blowing out all over the place. Raydar did the gearless distributor bit with a nut welded on top. It's been passed around to a few and is currently in my possession and was used last weekend on my replacement engine. Glad you didn't have to tear the engine down.
