Good evening all,
When a fool backed into me in a parking lot, my front eggcrate was damaged. Since finding one which is undamaged is a fool's errand, I think will construct a replacement of of pvc foam sheet....probably 1/16 in thickness.
Since I have not yet pulled off the front fascia to see it and can't seem to find such a pic via SEARCH, I would really appreciate a pic of an aero Fiero eggcrate.....and any insight you folks might have in making a replacement.
Y'All have NEVER failed me yet, so,
TIA, and stay well and keep fighting off the cabin fever!
Larry

There are probably a few good ones in Sanford, Michigan right now. Auction starts June 16. A lot less work than building your own, and probably safer too. [This message has been edited by Gall757 (edited 06-01-2020).]

You should be able to find a good used one. But, attached is a picture of the one on my Mini Wide Body car. The egg crate is pretty much as original, may have been trimmed slightly on the outside edges. This car had been hit on the passenger side. Some damage, but not bad. Good luck with your car repair.

Thanks....just what I was looking for....and not as evil a task as I had expected!
Re: Parts in Michigan....Well, I am in Long Island, NY, so not a lot of good they would do for me!
Thanks to all,
Larry

How damaged is the piece?
Its primary purpose is to help the fascia keep it's shape, it's not a critical part of the impact resistance system.
I have one in good condition if you are interested.
