I'm sure this has been asked and answered a million times and I swear I searched over and over again and couldn't find anything.
Swap was done 15 years ago. Haven't logged on here much since then. The cradle is out and I'm doing a bunch of maintenance. Can the oil pan be rotated 180 degrees putting the dipstick tube is on the side of the engine?
TIA, --Terry

I doubt that the dipstick location can be relocated. I don't consider the front firewall location to be all that bad. Most folks only need to check the oil very occasionally. As my Fiero is a fun hobby car, I only check it once a season. If you want a more remote operation; the 3800 engines come with a low oil sensor on the oil pan, if it isn't already, this sensor can be wired in to set a warning light signal for low oil level

Thanks for the quick reply and you're right; it's not that bad.

remove the dipstick TUBE, make a New one out of 5/16" steel fuel line. and make it longer and "position it" to be easier to get at. (over the top and towards the back of the car) use a dipstick that it longer to go with it, just remark the longer dipstick.
