The question is, where did those wheels come from? 5x100 isn't a terribly common size with the correct hub bore.
I'm running 15x something kind narrow off steel wheel off a cobalt or cavalier. Subaru wheels do not fit, not that any of their steel wheels are very wide either

Here's a good website that can tell you which wheels might work on your car - Wheel Size Dot Com . I put the numbers for my 88 Formula in and it spit out the following wheels from other cars that might fit mine:
Also I remember back in the day there were a few guys using 16" rims from about a 1990 Chevy Beretta GTU.

V8 Formula Thanks for the link. I had neon srt wheels on my last fiero. I was more thinking of something like diamond steel wheels but they only come drilled for 5/8" lug nut holes.

Unless you have a widebody, you can't fit 9" rear wheels on an 88 unless you run 18s. To go that wide the inside of the wheel has to go over the strut/knuckle mounting flange. 17s won't get it done on the 88.
Go to summit and look at their wheels section for 5x100. Lots of steel stock car type options.
