I am doing the temp gauge sensor wire swap to keep the gauge from pegging. The sensor connector has melted away some long time ago and I need a new one. Problem is, all I can find is the pigtail for the ECM sensor. Anyone have the part # for the gauge sensor pigtail?

Melting?
Likely have something causing that like exhaust leaks etc.
Breaking the connector shell is common from old age because many are in hot oily places etc and can get brittle but not melting.------------------

Maybe "melting" was a bad choice of words, probably should have said that all that was left of the shell is a few bits of distorted plastic sticking around, sure looks like it was pretty hot at one time.
