Electrical issue, need pointers. (Page 1/1)

Hello all. I am having an issue as of now where the radio, horn and cigarette lighter and maybe other things won't work. I have gotten as far as the BAT fuse keeps blowing, I even caught it pop with sparks I put 3 fuses in, each blown. So I have determined that there is some issue which is causing a short somewhere, but the question is where do I look next? I have wiring diagrams, but I would prefer to have certain points to look for before I go tearing into the wiring and possibly breaking more things. Let me know. Thanks!

1. Pull lighter socket then plugs behind of it.
Lighter socket can be bad even if lighter looks ok.

Will do that tomorrow. Thank you.

The cigarette lighter was NOT the issue. anyone else have any other ideas? I might have to break out some diagrams and hope I don't break something here soon.
