Fellas,
I decided I need a new amp. My 1985 SE Fiero has the factory sub-woofer. I also have the 7 band Monsoon radio with Mr. Toms blue-tooth upgrade. I now need a 2020 quality amp to replace Pontiac’s stock unit.
What brand should I purchase? Any ideas?
Cordially,
Kevin
Ps. I have all stock seat 3.5” seat speakers and Pioneer dash speakers, up

Stock amplifier is only 25 watts or so at best.
Most mono amps for driving subwoofers are huge power.
Most efficient and smallest physical size will be D Class amps.

Rockford Fosgate D Class mono amplifier
Has high level input, gain control and X-over.
300 watts at 4 ohms
Size: 8.5"x7.5"x2" thick

Another good choice would be a mini D Class amp like Clarion.
200 watts at 4 ohms

Only the best. I've used Rockford since the early 80's and will never use any other brand.

As a matter of fact, my head unit in the Fiero is Rockford.
