Just want to make sure I'm going about this correctly car has low acceleration under stress and will have moment s where it speeds up and then stops, plugged fuel pressure test on the fuel rail and at idle it put out 40psi when I pushed the throttle down it dropped it to 30psi, so I'm thinking fuel pump? Fuel filters been replaced and injectors are good.

fuel pump seems OK to me. What do you mean by 'speeds up'?

So it'll accelerate for like two seconds choppily and then stop accelerating and only goes to about 3800rpms before it had no power and won't really accelerate anymore.
