Window switches (Page 1/1)

I'm looking at this switch as a possible replacement for my windows. It's 5 pin, and I know the Fiero is 4 pin. But if I wire both grounds on the new switch to the single ground on the Fiero harness, will this work?

Fiero and other "old" cars have PW switches that reverse power at the switch.

Just how this one works have to get and buzz the thing to see how is wired.

⚠️ Many cars have PW switches control relays or BCM that actually runs the motors. When true even if you can make them work in a Fiero, the contacts quickly burn out or worse can weld close causing big problems or a fire.

So these probably won't work. What switches from other cars have people made work? I'd like to go to black switches instead of the Fiero gray ones.

82-84 Firebird/TransAm switches. Just figure out a way to mount them or simply pop off the actual switch cap and replace yours. They caps are a direct fit.

That's perfect. Now I gotta find some.
