Hello everyone, today when I tried to bridge the connectors to perform the car code test, it happened this: When I switched on (just the car not the engine) , nothing happened, only the Upshift Light came on and I noticed a continuous noise from the Idle Air Control Valve. Which disappears as well as the Upshift Light when I do not bridge the connectors Does anyone know where it could come from?

make sure you jump right pins. See my Cave, ALDL/ALCL
No codes including normal 12 code can be: MIL/CEL light bulb blown, socket dead or pulled out. Aftermarket "Chip" that disables code reporting and likely can't scan using scan tool. ECM has problems.
194 bulb Sockets can break but look ok to you. Switch whole thing w/ a bulb and socket known to work like a turn light. Sometimes the dash plastic will "dent" or copper is corroded... turn socket a bit one way then other to try to get good connect w/ the "board." If someone used LED replace it then use normal 194 bulb and socket.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
