I tried searching through the forums and was unable to find hot o go about getting a 3800sc for my fiero. Just junkyard searching ? I'd appreciate the help , new to this so sorry for the questions

Facebook marketplace (wouldn't trust the mileage they give you if its already pulled out of the donor)

Or if you dont mind pulling it out of the donor yourself look at the inventory online at whatever type of pick n pulk or u pull it junkyards in your area and get it on the super cheap

yup /\ just about every junk yard you call in my area has them. not hard to come by.

Watch Craigslist or other listing services, and try and buy a complete running car. This way you know better what you have, and there are a lot of parts that you can use on the conversion ( trans, drive shafts, wiring harness, fuse box, Exhaust downpipe, ECM, extra wire, etc...) . I've found two donors for less than $400 each. One the owner couldn't get to run properly ( spark plug wires were crossed when he changed plugs, bad fuel pump was the real problem). They are not as prevelant now since CL started charging for auto ads, but try placing a wanted ad on CL / facebook. ------------------

I have a '98 Buick Park Avenue Ultra I'm letting go of. Series II 3800sc w/4T65E HD 4 spd Automatic. Runs and drives nice, no oil leaks, good compression, currently registered. It would be a long haul, but you could drive this one home! PM me if interested.
