1988 aft heater hose (Page 1/1)

The lower heater hose, the one that comes off the right side coolant pipe, needs to be replaced. One end in swedged on to a hard line and the other end clamped to the coolant pipe.

Are there replacements of this line or is the best thing to cut off the swedged collar and clamp to it? This is the hose I'm talking about.

Thanks!

Standard heater hose and clamp will do. Think ⅝" size hose.
GM just use "AC" type crimp ends to be easy to make the car at factory.

Just make sure hose won't kink.
If does then can try hose bender. Is basically a "spring" on outside keep bend w/o kinking.
Or might find generic hose w/ 90° at many parts stores.
