I have a few 3800 Throttle bodies here from series 2 3800SC engines. the only difference I can SEE, is the size of the HOLE where the MAF goes in. thus mandating a "different" MAF. How do I tell which is which year ? Thank you

Lou,
Different tune required for the two different MAF sensors, so you cant mix/match the PCM (tune) with the MAFs from the wrong year without re-programming them.

The series 3 3800SC engines (04-07) have the MAF in the air inlet tube and not in the TB housing. This may have been a change to accommodate the DBW TB.
