series 3 3800sc into a 87 fiero. Was "brought to me" as "non running project". got it to run, but scanner says #4 cyl misfire. the spark plug IS fireing, the compression is 155 psi, But the "wiring" to the injector has the pink wire supposed to be hot at all times and IS hot, BUT the other that is "Supposed" to only ground when firing, is ALSO hot all the time !, but the injector is Not flooding the cylinder with fuel. Ideas ???

The injector isnt firing because there is 12V on both leads.
Fix the wiring issue from the injector to the PCM and the problem should be gone.

ok, thats what I thought. this is the second harness from the same guy with a inj wire malfunction. thanks

OK, replaced the #46 "blue" wire. Now the "plug" at the injector is getting a "pulse". BUT, I am Still getting a #4 Cyl "MISFIRE". the only thing left is the INJECTOR "itself", CORRECT ??? [This message has been edited by Lou6t4gto (edited 12-30-2019).]

ALSO, the car will not" Initially start" without a shot of "quick start", then it starts right up. shut it off, and again it will not start without another shot of quick start. Why is it not getting enough Fuel to Start the engine ?? It Has 55 PSI as soon as the key is turned on ! just wont fire up without an "extra kick" of fuel. thanks

"Listened" to the Injectors with a stethoscope, they all click Except #4 (sounds very Faint).
Why won't it start without a shot of quick start ??? Thanks.

Lou - does the engine continue to run after the "Hot Shot" ether has been burned off?
