I am working on several Fieros that had been sitting unstarted for several years. Amongst the parts that need to be replaced, like fuel pumps that are toast, the fuel injectors are likely clogged up. You can have them rebuilt, but it seems like it costs about the same as just buying a new set.
Looking at Rock Auto, there are several options including AC Delco which are $90 each. Are there any less expensive options that anyone has experience with, that they are good and reliable?

I think I would get the ones from GB REMANUFACTURING.
With the plastic caps on the ends, they really do look like "remanufactured" (or rather, cleaned and tested) stockers.
For the best running, the computer is expecting a certain dead time from the injectors, so I think the best way to stay closest to the stock dead time is to stay with stock injectors.
Technically, if you change to injectors that have a different dead time than stock, you need to reprogram the computer.

Fuel injectors rarely go bad, so sending them to a cleaning service is a good way to go. I would trust the original injectors more than new ones, as new replacement parts seem to be getting less reliable.

I clean my own injectors with a trick I learned years ago..
Get a can of pressurized carb cleaner
Get a tire stem valve and cut the tip off, the plastic hose from the carb cleaner will slip into the end.
get 2 wire leads with gator clips
place the and of the tire valve over the fuel inlet of the injector and connect the leads to a 12 volt battery. Once the leads are connected depress the carb cleaner button. The pressure and solvent will clean the injectors like new.
its really neat to see the pattern clear up as the injector is getting cleaned out.
I spray until the pattern is clear.

If the injectors are still on the rail and on the engine you can use a pressurized can injector cleaner kit. The kit costs about the price of on new injector. Will unclog injectors from stale fuel deposits. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. DIY cleaners are probably all you need, but the services do test and match the injectors, and will replace one if it is out of spec.

I agree with Gall757. Send your stock injectors out to be cleaned and flow matched. They flow the correct amount. If you purchase replacement injectors, be sure they're rated at 15# at 43.5 psi. If any of the injectors are dead, a good injector service will likely have the proper replacement.
