Happy holidays to all,
It seems I busted my cable for the hood release. Got the hood open but I am unsure how to replace the cable or get a new one if one is available. I may have access to a used one but I'd have to remove it and I really don't know how. Would appreciate any help given.

Have to remove wiper arms and screen to get at the latch and cable.
See my Cave, Windshield Wipe
Pull arm up to get drill/nail thru hole shown.------------------

There are replacement cables available, most are generic! Just Google " Pontiac Fiero replacement hood release cable".
Generic cables are available from a number of vendors. You could always post your request in the Mall.
Good luck hunting for a replacement.

The cable has a spare built in, are both cables bad?
