Hey guys, appreciate everyone's knowledge here.
So recently my Fuel gauge in my car decided to stop working accuratly...basically tells me im at a little less than 1/4 tank when really im full empty. I temp replaced it with an autometer gauge? but honestly, i wanna get the original one working accurately again. Does anyone know how to fix these OG gauges so they report correctly again? is there a part or component that needs changing? Is there a source for "new" OG gauges to keep the stock look but also be accurate???

Yes I’m sure, the sending unit is new and we tested the unit itself on the bench...when it should have read empty it read almost 1/4 full...so we swapped the fuel gauge with an aftermarket autometer one and it works perfect. Very accurate.
So I wanna know if there’s a way to fix the original one so it also reads accurate.
