I opened up my 3800sc motor and noticed that the coating on the rotors decided to pack up and leave and find a better life elsewhere. My question is, is the supercharger still good? never heard the motor run and if I run it will it be still dependable? I've heard that it will seize to it will be fine no worries. Dazed and confused!

Are your sure there was teflon on the impellers in the 1st place? My understanding is the teflon on a new S/C will rub down during the first hours of operation on a warmed up engine leaving a minimum clearance for max boost. Beyond that would take something getting in the air flow to wear it off more or a bad bearing would do the same. That being the case it would take very little teflon to begin with to accomplish this and may appear as though none is left.

Just my 2 cents.
