88 exhaust cut outs (Page 1/1) Darren's 87 coupe SEP 15, 04:56 PM Looking to do a swap one day. I want to start with an 88 and go duel exhaust. Do all 88s have the two cut outs? Or did the 4 cylinder only have one? If they both have 2 then I could get a 4 cylinder for the swap. Thanks for any help. fieroguru SEP 15, 05:52 PM The 88 coupe rear bumper has 2 exhaust cutouts for all models and engines. The Formula was an 88 base coupe with the V6, so they made the base coupe fascia with the dual cutouts. In 87, the base coupe rear bumper had the exhaust cutout on one side.
