I ran across a front brake caliper from a Chevrolet Celebrity at the junkyard recently and it looked very similar to what the Fiero uses. Does anyone know if these calipers interchange with the Fiero? If so we can save a lot of money as rebuilt units are less costly . ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Hey Dennis, I don't know the year Celebrity you saw but I just searched Rock Auto and here are the results.

I also looked up Fiero 84-87 and 88 and they don't show any interchange whatsoever.
So the search continues.....

I would say that the difference between those named above and the Fiero calipers is probably small. The brake hose connection for the more common caliper appears to be at the rear not on the top so a different brake hose may be needed But will it fit the knuckle? Until we have the units side by side we won't know.

The last rebuilt rear caliper I bought had the wrong hardware for mounting the parking brake cable. Not a problem, I just swapped them over. But that indicates to me that the Fiero caliper was used on other cars, just with different hardware. I think cross referencing would not work because of the different hardware, but it doesn't mean there are no similar calipers out there. ------------------ 86 GT built 2.2 ecotec turbo rear SLA suspension QA1 coilovers on tube arms

Just an FYI: I've used 84 Chevy Citation front calipers on my fieros, just swap the them left to right on the rear. Yep, no park brake stuff.

The rotor specs for the caliper will give you a lot more info too.

Did you have to change the rotors?

Celebrity and Citation used vented rotors, so yes you would need to swap. You would want the non-HD Celebrity parts. [This message has been edited by RacerX11 (edited 09-06-2019).]

If the Celebrity /Citation rotors are different, I assume that the thickness is the issue. Also do you know if the bolt pattern on those rotors is 5 x 100, the same as the Fiero? ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
