84 2.5 has slightly high idle (Page 1/1)

Hey guys, I've got an 84 that I've owned since new, never winter drive and always garaged. Hasn't even seen water in the last 20 years. The car was running perfectly at the beginning of the season, Idling at about 750 RPM once warmed up. I did have a slight oil leak on the back side of the rocker cover which I fixed. All went well with that, but... since then the idle will not drop below 1250 RPMs. I checked all my vacuum lines and as expected they appear to be like new. I thought the only other possibility could be that the EGR didnt reseal properly, so I removed that, cleaned the surfaces, and put on a new gasket. Still no luck. So I'm at a bit of a loss here. No engine codes. Idle does drop after initial warmup (from 2000 to 1500 RPM, then to 1250 once fully warm).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

As you already suspect, it's probably a vacuum leak. You say you've checked all your vacuum lines. Did that include checking all PCV fittings and hoses?
