7730 with or without A/C (Page 1/1) fierofinder AUG 10, 09:50 PM Was hoping someone knew if I have to have the A/C hooked up when using 7730 and DIS with $A1. On page 22 of Darth's original thread on the swap he mentions that the ecm needs the signal from the A/C or it could cause idling issues. Is there a work around to this or do I have to use different mask if I want to keep a/c out of my fiero. olejoedad AUG 10, 11:16 PM If you are not using A/C, the ECU doesn't care, and needs no input. Blacktree AUG 11, 07:12 PM I'm late to the party, but olejoedad is correct. If the engine has A/C, the ECM needs to be able to adjust the idle when the A/C turns on.
