Well I finally completed my front brake upgrade! I had completed the hub replacement, Grand Am rotor and caliper replacement several months back. And yes there was significant braking improvement. The delay in installing the S10 brake booster was the fact that I was having difficulties in obtaining a Fiero brake booster bracket. Thanks to a PFF member I have since acquired a Fiero brake booster bracket (only).

I had purchased a 1996 Chevy S10 brake booster from the local Pull a Part. Made the necessary modifications to the S10 booster push rod. Had my son fabricate a companion push rod that would match the Fiero push rod connection point to the brake pedal.
Here is a photo of the front trunk area where the brake booster is located before body adjustments.

In all the threads I have reviewed/read about the installation of the S10 brake booster none really ever mentioned how much it's a PITA to get to the booster bracket nuts. Well they are, at least for me! For my installation I found it easier to separate the brake booster bracket from the brake booster. Installed the bracket (ease in installing the nuts) then install/fit the brake booster. Again, allowing ease of accessing the nuts.

The stopping power was good before with the Grand Am front brake upgrade but much improved with the S10 brake booster installed. Not sure if it's really desirable but I can easily lock the brakes up now!
Thanks everyone who provided me assistance, feedback, links and parts in my Grand Am & S10 brake booster upgrade.

What brakes are you running in the rear?

Are you still using the stock master cylinder?
When I did the Grand Am brake upgrade, it made the brakes feel touchy. They grabbed so hard, I accidentally locked up the brakes a couple times. That was with the stock master cylinder and booster. But you installed a bigger booster, which will make the brakes even MORE touchy!

How is the bias feel to you?

Blacktree, I have taken the GT out a couple time to test the brakes. So far I have not experienced the grabbing you had mentioned.
olejoedad, I suppose the bias is about the same? A little more noticeable to the front.
Here is a photo of the spare tire installed with the S-10 brake booster install.

Mike in Sidney,
The relay block with the small relays is for my digital HVAC controller. Digital HVAC controller out of a 2001 Grand Prix. Used fuzzy logic to control the stepper motor for the air box.
The large relays control most of the cars electrical system.
