The linkage arm, the one with the slotted hole on my 5 spd trans has too much play in it, the slot is warn. I can try welding it and grinding it back to fit, but would rather just buy another arm, if anyone has a good one or knowns what the part number is, or where to get part's, please advise.

Francis... Try Rodney Dickman's site. He has lots of Getrag "refurb" pieces. That piece sounds familiar.
This is a "short" shift arm.

THANKS FOR REPLY I have gotten parts from him for the shifter and they worked great, but his is the arm on the trans. I will post a photo here today.

A pic would be nice ‘cause it sounds like what your describing is the shift arm on the trans but it’s not that. I have a complete Getrag that lost a gear so I probably have what you need. Is it the arm that has splines in the middle and bolts to the fork?? The one the slave cylinder pushes on?
