Does the Fiero 2.8 use different cylinder head bolts then other 2.8's?

I don't know the answer to your question. However, I've often read on the Forum that it is best to Replace the head bolts with New Ones. You can get them at The Fiero Store at the following link:

I believe all the head bolts for the iron head motors are the same, (2.8, 3.1, 3.4.) since they are all essentially the same casting.
I would expect the aluminum heads to use different ones, but I'm not sure.[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 06-26-2019).]

on 2.5s and 2.8s ,do NOT re-use head bolts, you will find out in time (blown head gaskets) if you do. Use NEW (cheap insurance

One of the Fiero 2.8 head bolts has a stud on it for a ground strap; I don't know if the aftermarket replacements or kits from other cars contain the special bolt.
I wouldn't change Fiero 2.8 head bolts just for the sake of changing them.[This message has been edited by pmbrunelle (edited 06-26-2019).]
