The module is similar to the V6 and they use a 5.5 mm hex head screw. The distributor cap should use the same size.
Be sure to use white heat sink grease when installing the new ICM and only tighten the screws using your fingertips on your nut driver. The screws are aluminum and the distributor base is steel. The extra fine threads are easy to strip on the screws and they are hard to come by.

I'm not familiar with that part on the 84, however, on the throttle body I have for an 88, it is held in place by Torx head screws so you would need a Torx driver bit to remove it.
I'm going to assume you're totally new to the Fiero, so I will say that if you're replacing the IAC, measure the distance from the tip of the pintle to the base where the housing sits against the side of the throttle body. Adjust the new IAC to this same distance to avoid damaging it.
The V6 has two styles IAC pintles and require a different method for adjusting each. I will assume that the L4 may also have two styles. Once you have the old one removed and the new one in hand, come back here and let someone here help with determining if the two are different. With the V6 IAC, the shaft of the pintle is either smooth or has a slot down 2 sides of the shaft.

300 series TBI IAC is screwed into the TBI. Is Not held by screws as is for later years... 87 and up.
Do Not over torque the IAC or can wreck both parts. Make sure the the tip is pushed in or can wreck both parts.
Most DIY do not have large sockets that fit them. Can carefully use big pliers, crescent wrench, etc, w/o damage.
