I have two fieros, and I have multiple options forward in my quest for a single running fiero. Car number one is an 84 automatic that was in an engine fire which damaged some electrical wiring, I made it run, but the wiring I used was temporary and probably unsafe. Car number two is an 84 manual, it is running too but has a problem with mixing water with oil, I bought it like that, so I don't know how long it was run with contaminated oil. I see multiple paths forward and I need some advice on what to do. Thanks!

Assuming you wish to keep either, and you've got the desire to pull a wrench... swap the engine (minus its wiring) from the auto Fiero into the manual Fiero.

Exactly what burned... 84 main power goes To the starter at Battery cable end and Thru C500. Can be fix but a lot harder to do so. If you just burn Fuse Link(s) to the starter then just replace them and check for other problem. See my Cave, Wire Service For other burn wires... If you can't find 84 FSM, AlldataDIY has Correct Wiring for 84. Do Not use Haynes, later FSM, etc.
Coolant in oil can be several things and most are not good or cheap to fix. Worse many 84 had several possible problems to start with right out of GM engine plant and affect not just Fiero but others cars w/ same engine ~ 83 to 86. Weak rod, weak head bolts, some even a weak block. Many 84 Fiero had engine replacement under warranty/recall work.
So if you have a good motor in one leave that alone and don't try swapping important parts. Swapping a head can open a big can of worms you don't want.
Some quick test is pulling spark plugs, put them in order on a bench and look carefully. Example: #4 is clearer then others then likely Intake Manifold gasket failed. Gasket can leak coolant to #4 cyl w/o leaking coolant on the ground. Felpro intake gasket are made to prevent this exact problem. But if others are cleaner or all 4 same then likely something else and harder and more expensive to fix.

Likely that is easier then others IF the stick car doesn't have rust problems in the main frame. Rusty cradle etc can replace those.
If car(s) lived near the ocean can be as bad as road salt up north. Cars in Charlotte now may not matter.
Look under the car inducing at the top by looking in "holes" in front/back areas for inner plastic fenders to see upper frame. Plenty of Light, mirrors or even a cheap bore scope may help.
Other options can require big wire hardness swaps etc and affect most to all of car. Example: Auto Trans has AC and stick car doesn't.
