Ya so my old dash has seen better days. I been looking at replacing it and was wondering if a dash cluster from a 3rd gen would fit? And if so what needs to be done to make it work?

I am sure it will with some modifications because others have used the 98 and up f-body dash's for the Fiero. Do a search for it.

I did do a search. All I find is info on a 4th gen set up.

1985? Intact Camaro dash pads are probably harder to come by than Fiero dashes, in my experience. The guts behind the cluster and glovebox area would be the big challenge, third gen F bodies ran their HVAC on vacuum lines to open and close directional ports. Fieros use electronic modules. A Corvette near these years would be much better to try for these very reasons along with the option to add their digital cluster.
