Can anyone help me out as to where I can buy a cold start injector for a stock '87 GT 2.8L. I really don't want to just add a new O-ring, which is the only related part I can find, I figure after 30+ years the 'ol girl deserves a new one. Thanks for any help in my quest. R

After 32 years, the ol' girl probably deserves/requires any number of components... but why the cold start injector? Is she difficult to start when cold, but not when warmed up?

To the best of my knowledge they are, as with many Fiero-specific parts, unobtanium to replace..
On the advice of many on the forum, I've sent mine out to be cleaned at
https://www.cruzinperformance.com/
He does the cold start as well as the regular injector. Great guy, had a good chat with him about Fieros.

The good news is that they almost never fail. Usually the switch is the problem and not the injector. (the bad news is they are expensive....if you can find a new one at all)[This message has been edited by Gall757 (edited 05-11-2019).]

Yes, it takes about 5 seconds of starter engagement for it to catch only when cold that's why I'm thinking injector. Right now I'm trying to figure where to start eliminating problem (s). I believe I saw the switch offered from Rock Auto, I know I'll have to start somewhere, so I'll get the switch and see how it goes from there. Thanks all for your help, R------------------

Testing the switch is easy. It should be 'on' at room temp. If it passes that test, the injector is probably stuck.
