Alright. My car had the 5 speed getrag. I’m not the most knowledgeable with transmissions but the trans makes a knocking sound in neutral clutch not pressed. Press the clutch and knocking sound goes away. It did this a few weeks ago and I changed the fluid. It had 5w30 engine oil in before (prev owner) and I put fresh synchromesh in it. Sound went away for a while, but now it’s back. Anyone have any ideas? Also do they make new dipsticks for that trans still? Mine stays loose.
