Can you swap a flat rocker set with a roller set on an '85 duke? (Page 1/1)

I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine and will have to order parts soon but it seems there are no pushrods available at all for the flat followers.
If it turns out I do have flat lifters, can I swap in a new full roller set from rockauto? Camshaft, lifters and pushrods? Or are these not swappable because of some engine block differences?

i'm told no because the block's oil holes for lifters are drilled higher for rollers vs lower for flats. Put flat and roller next to each other and look at oil ports on side with bottom at same point like hit a cam lobe.
