The engine sounds like it's miss firing at around 4K rpm in each gear. It had been running fine since the engine swap several years ago. it runs smooth under 4k rpm Any ideas?

I would check the ignition system first; coils, wires and plugs.

Possibly. I won't have a chance to check it until next weekend.

I went to inspect the engine and found a badly worn serpentine belt (Operating on about 3 of the original 6 ribs.) I replaced the belt with a new Dayco and went for a test spin. So, far, so good.

The throttle position sensor was bad. Replaced it with a new one and the engine is running great. I did replace the spark plugs, as well. They were pretty messed up.
