3D printed Pontiac badge for rear of 88 coupes (Page 1/1)

I printed a Pontiac badge for the back of my 88 Formula - it's available for download on thingiverse:

Here's a pic of it mounted:

I painted mine with black plastidip. The pins for it are printed separately (makes the 3d printing go well) and then glued to the back. These fit the holes in my bumper. I glued it in with Shoogoo, which seems to work well, but I'm sure other glues would work too.

I also printed the sail panel badges, then painted them, and flooded them with clear epoxy. Turned out OK, but not great. After doing all that, I think buying new ones for like $12 is well worth it.

BTW - the Pontiac badge cost me a total of 20 cents of plastic - so if you have a 3d printer, it's a cheap way to get a new badge.

Hey, I know it's been a while since you posted this, but if you're still around, can you tell me how you installed the "PONTIAC" emblem? Did you have to take the rear lights out to access behind the plastic fascia? I have the emblem from The Fiero Store, and it looks great, but I'm not sure how to secure it. It has the two plastic pins that the original has. I will try using the adhesive you've suggested.

Thanks.
