help reading 7730 pin outs from darthfiero (Page 1/2)

I'm totally confused about the pin outs. If know the plugs have letters and numbers on them. But if don't see things like BA11 or GF6 they are all single letters. Help please.

Where are you coming up with 'BA11' and 'GF6' in Darth's pinouts?

The pinouts reference the PCM plug (blue or clear), the wire color, the circuit function, the sensor plug name and terminal letter the wire is connected to.

Concerning the 1227730 pinout diagrams I have posted on my website:

"BA11" = Black connector, row A, pin location 11.

"GF6" = Green (or yellow) connector, row F, pin location 6.

The BA and BB rows are in the 24 pin black connector.

The BC and BD rows are in the 32 pin black connector.

The GE and GF rows are in the 32 pin yellow (or green) connector.

I found the added B and G to be confusing. I crossed out the B and G when I used Darth's sheets because I would make a mistake and end up putting a wrong pins in the B side connector that shouldn't be there. I then made my own on a spreadsheet and use a color printer to make it less confusing and to help me double check the wiring after the swap was complete.

Use a second set of connectors. Unpin a wire at a time from the old 7170 connector and then insert it into the 7730 connector. I do this with the connectors in an ECM with the sides labeled with tape so I don't mess up which side is A - B - C - D - E - F

Aha! 7730!
I assumed 3800.
My bad.
Sorry.

Darth's pinouts have been a great help to the Fiero community. The first time at attempting a wiring harness project can be intimidating.

One wire at a time. Be patient. You'll get it done.

Ok I'm pre labeling all of the . On the yellow connector I'm guessing C = E row and D = F row?
