I have borrowed a Deck Plate for Honing the rusty bores on my SD2.5 block, and removing the skirt wear at the bottoms.
I was lucky enough to buy a set of Crane Solid Rollers to work with my billet camshaft.

Interesting post and loads of work so far. You can make lots of power with the SD4 engine but from what I have read, to keep it streetable you are probably looking at around 225 HP. ------------------
