The s10 booster needs a lot of persuading. I attempted to reshape and lengthen pin but damaged it.

Then your doing it wrong, my second pic at the bottom of page one is plenty clearance for the 10.4 inch booster.

There were several size of Boosters used on the S10. You may have installed the CARDONE 501268 which had a diaphram size of 9.11"
While the larger S-10 Size, most appear to have installed, was 10.4"

I can't honestly say. The one I installed was the one that was sold from the Fiero Store many years ago as a "performance upgrade." It was the one that everyone was saying would provide better braking support / boost.
My Fiero is in a storage unit about 2 hours away, so I can't check. Clearance was tight, I remember that much... it was almost touching... but it didn't. Like. I could fit a quarter (flat) between the frame and the booster. I replaced it a long time ago, and drove it like that for a few years. I did it when my Fiero had about 70k miles on it back in say... 1998. It didn't NEED to be replace, but I did it as part of a brake upgrade package that I did with cross-drilled and slotted rotors from the Fiero Store, along with steel braided brake lines, and the S-10 brake booster.... all came from the Fiero Store.

I am thinking now RHD converted car palm to face and wasn't suitable to begin with for me. Which I never considered you have just brought this to my attention. I ust this week found out the differences with my other car harrier rhd vs lhd rx300 and variants ended up getting internal kits to fix a master cylinder issue.[This message has been edited by Australian (edited 08-24-2023).]

I want to correct something I said... I just looked at the last "nice" picture I took of my Fiero before I put it into storage, and this is the brake booster I have installed. To me, this looks like the factory brake booster... even the one that actually came with the car as is indicative by the sticker on the front of it. So I'm thinking that maybe I never even installed the brake booster, or I installed it in one of my other Fieros... so I take back what I said above...

It's been a LONG time, so you'll have to forgive me.
EDIT: I'm wondering if maybe it was my master cyl that I replaced that was "performance" and came from the S-10?[This message has been edited by 82-T/A [At Work] (edited 08-24-2023).]

It's okay and you have a good reason as "Chronic Vehicle Addiction" patients are often confused from one vehicle to another.....

Hahah... someone once told me... it's better to just have one nice fun car, and put your efforts into that... rather than lots of cars that aren't great.

This setup works great. No issues and a nice modern brake feel on what otherwise is a stock Fiero brake system. Install took about an hour, including the hammer work and a little paint were hammered.
Thank you Rodney Dickman !![This message has been edited by Kevin87FieroGT (edited 09-04-2023).]
