I ended up not finishing since I found out how expensive weber carbs have gotten but it would have been 1 duel barrel per bank or the idea a friend had was putting 3 duals on and running fuel to all of them and making a plate to open the manifold up to a wide chamber (like a single plane intake) to allow full throttle to have better fuel distribution. thats gonna wait til after he finds out how 2 weber 45s work on their ford focus project and if they can be dailied properly |

I knew that I wouldn't actually put 3 Webbers on the 2.8, it was an over enthusiastic young car guys fantasy. At the time carburetors where the thing I knew best. I'll guess that you enjoy carburetors so you know just how "exotic" Webber's are. You do want individual intake runners to do them right. I did a triple DCOE setup on a 1.9 liter Triumph GT6 and a single on an MGB and learned that I like SU's the best. One needs a whole box of jets to tune a Webber and ..... some place other than the side of the road to do it. But ... never stop dreaming.

I'll have to model how it was going to look. but I've dealt with quite a few webers on older vehicles and I gotta say they do not get better from sitting. they made an excellent blow through carb though
