I'd be inclined to investigate the possibility of using a remote transmission cooler mounted in the rear of the car, and forget about messing about with lines running to the front.

The transmission loop in the radiator isn't a cooler, it's a transmission fluid temperature stabilizer, designed to warm trans fluid when cold and keep it at a constant temperature when operating.
Remote mounted "coolers" on a street car are a bad idea for the most part.[This message has been edited by olejoedad (edited 07-26-2023).]

IMO, automatic transmissions in a street car are a bad idea for the most part.

I can agree with that to an extent. I like the auto in my 4.9 Formula, but I miss the manuals in my former V-6 cars.
