Doing this will at least let you know if the sensors are reading correctly when you first start a cold engine. It doesn't guarantee of course against one or both of the sensors reading incorrectly as temperatures begin to rise.

Nope, sorry... captured forever.

Seeing that now newly re-posted image , my concern would be if the wiring harness for the sensor was extended in a proper fashion. If there's added resistance in the splices for example, that might be throwing readings of the IAT sensor off.

apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but i learned somethin. i always suspected my tach was a little bit off when getting up in the RPMs, but by someone elses thread a while back i learned my tach is WAY off. my 6k redline is actually more like 4k....

idle seems to be proper if the tach is showing about 1.4/1.5k(~50% higher than 950), which would explain the ECM not throwing a high idle code. passing cars is SO much easier now, it always felt gutless going down into 4th at 55, even though supposedly that put me at 4k(but really at more like 2.5k.) now i know 3rd can take me to 90, not just 60...

thanks for all the help though guys(mostly you patty )
