Ya, I do not think I want to press my luck, just want to finally get it back on the road.
I am going to attempt to somehow get the egg shape back to a circle so it will seal up but have my doubts on being able to get it back into the shape it needs to be to seal. There are witness marks where it is seating now which is not close to sealing.

If you think your luck removing manifold bolts might continue, you should also remove the rear exhaust manifold so that you can port both manifolds. The exhaust will sound and flow better. It's good for a few extra ponies. |

I would rethink ported manifolds, your halfway there. I know where you can get them already ported and welded for 200 plus your old manifolds.

When I've had the exhaust manifolds off my 2.8 Fieros, I've always semi-tightened the Y-pipe connections before tightening the manifolds to the heads. It's possible that the reason your Y-pipe/manifold connection is messed up like that is because whomever had things apart previously didn't tighten everything up in the correct sequence.
If I were you, I'd remove that rear manifold, port both manifolds, and then reassemble and tighten in the sequence that I've suggested. It would help ensure that you have the best possible chance of getting that wonky Y-pipe connection to seal.
If you do happen to snap off a manifold bolt on the rear bank, it's at least on the side that's easy to work on!  [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 05-04-2022).]
