Fiero Store Side Mouldings or Repaint? (Page 3/3)
saaron DEC 13, 04:55 PM
Here's the final product. I'm happy with the quality. It really looks like new.
As a reminder since this thread started months ago. I had it repainted by a collision shop "panels off".
The total price ended up at $7,304. That included repaiting all of the moulding, the door handles, the mirrors, the wiper arms, and the black vents and surrounding black panels.
I hope this is helpful for others who are considering a full repaint like I was.
I'm so glad I did it.

Just curious, did you remove the roof panel / A-pillar covering that surrounds the sunroof and extends down the exterior of the A-pillars around the windshield?

Pretty sure they did not remove that part. Everything else. They did, however, remove the front windshield and the sunroof.
On a related note, when they remove the front windshield it broke in half. They had to replace it with aftermarket. That was included in the price tag.

Really, they did a great job. Very nice.

Any idea on the brand of windshield you had replaced?

BTW, another thing. The VIN stickers...just confirming the price was only for 1 sticker? Not a set for the car?

Thanks,

Not sure about the windshield. They just said aftermarket. They didn’t seem to have any trouble finding it.
Yes, it was $45 per sticker. Plus shipping which was about three dollars
