Getrag - Neutral difficulties and stiff shifting (Page 3/3) Atlanta1 AUG 30, 09:49 AM I had difficulty shifting into 5th gear was a bit tight and reverse was very hard. I replaced the shifter with with Rodneys short throw shifter and then my 1st gear would pop out of gear sometimes. I then replace the select cable then my fifth gear and reverse gear became so much easier. I had to adjust the linkage bolt on the transmission cable to solve the 1st gear from coming out . Now the shifter feels great . I had to keep moving the shifter a little more to the left to to get into first before . And shifting thru all my gears are all fine .
