The injectors for my 3.4 are rated at 17# which actually flow 16.76 at 43.5 psi, stock Fiero fuel pressure.

I went with rebuilt injectors from Precision Auto Injectors... although keep in mind, this was five years ago.

I believe that's their way of saying that they no longer have them in stock.

So I ended up with a set of the recommended Bosch EV1 injectors. The number on the ones I removed from my motor is 5235210. Just to make 1000% sure, this means I'm going from pintle to pintle and not disk to pintle, correct? I've been reading too many threads again and some people are saying some '88s came with disk style, but I can't imagine that would be the case.

There have been some reports of disc injectors in the 88's but there was some speculation that they were only in the last of the production run. What you have are pintle. You can verify it by looking into the business end. Should be only 1 hole. The EV1's you purchased are a 4 pintle injector so you will see 4 tiny holes in the spray nozzle.
5325210 was used in Pontiac Firebird 2.8L V6 1985-1986-1987-1988-1989 . They would probably be 15# injectors unless the Firebird ran a fuel pressure higher than 43.5 psi. It was also listed for the 85-88 2.8 Fiero and at 43.5 psi, should provide 15#/hr. In actuality, it's 14.65#/hr.
When you push the HP up from 140 in the 2.8 to 160 in the 3.4, the required flow is 17# which is actually 16.66#/hr so you see you need an extra 2 #/hr for the bigger engine. The EV1 you purchased flow 16.7#hr at an 80% duty cycle. Resistance is the same as the 5325210 injectors at 5.90 Ohm.
. There are three kinds of men:
1. The ones that learn by reading. 2. The few who learn by observation. 3. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves. Will Rogers[This message has been edited by fierofool (edited 05-11-2020).]
