Will, boost takes away the ingenuity out of building NA engines! That's the trend now, put a turbo on a LS and make 1000hp and call yourself an engine builder, my 15 year old niece can do that and she has no mechanical background. The turbo and intercooler makes up for the weight of the iron heads!

screw it Rei !!! Drop the stroke back down to 3" like he's suggesting with the 3.2 comment using 6.3" rods and spin it to

How about adding another liter to the 3.2L? Just saying! How does that saying goes? "There's no replacement for displacement". That will make the 60* V6 bigger than a NorthStar 4.0L!

Here is the dyno run promised for this 3.7L LR (long rod version) and please forgive me for the lateness, this is just my hobby. I'm working on the short rod version of this 3.7L and I wanted to post this dyno to document my progress. As you can see it is nowhere near 9000rpm and the reason being is that 9000rpms was not going to work on the intended use of the engine. I didn't want a peaky engine, I wanted a torque monster off the line with a wide power band.

As you can see in the previous pictures and in the picture above this engine has "one of" parts no other V6 has, and innovations that no one has tried.
As I make progress with the 3.7L SR I will update it at its appropriate topic, but as of now this engine served its purpose and has been disassembled and put away for later use.
Here is a little break down of some parts:

-Tunnel Ram intake with injectors located 3 inches higher in the runner.
- Solid flat tappet Camshaft .585 intake/ .620 exhaust lift.
-Super light valves and valve train components.
-2 ring package with top ring gapless superlight flat top forged pistons 10.47:1 compression
-6.2 inches A beam connecting rods.
-Lighten crankshaft (-2.4lbs)
-All rotating assembly balanced.
-Dry sump system (12 quarts)
-ATI Super Damper
-Electric water pump
-And much more....!
