I do need help with that. I have no idea where the points are at besides the back of the car. I can't seem to find any in the front and I know not to jack it from the sides since that is where the coolant lines are at. The car is also super low making it much harder. I did buy a big red 2.5 ton trolley jack yesterday and it fits in the back trunk. But it's hard to tell if the jack I bought is too high for the car since my car is sitting on dirt. It is better than a scissor jack though.

If you guys think this one might be too tall just let me know. I was trying to find a small easily portable trolley jack that comes with a case just like the one in the photo and was 2 tons or higher. I do have the receipt in case I need to return it.

I'm using a 1.5 ton that goes down to 3.5 inches (lowered springs).

Here is what the service manual states for lifting points

Watch the door sides they are not like frame built vehicles.

I just want to double check. So I see there is quite a few different options for lifting the car but can I use my jack on any of those spots listed as long as it reaches it. Just wanting to make sure since they say they are for different equipment but I don't see why I couldn't use a jack on all of them.

If you see where it says vehicle jack that is for the scissor jack that came with the car. Service jacks such as a floor jack can lift the areas marked service. In my opinion the small foot print of the lifting head on the jack you have I wouldn't use it.

Thank you. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and try to see if my jack can even fit under the car. Like I said before it's hard to tell because the car is on dirt. How do I know if it actually fits or if it's just digging into the dirt.

For gawd's sake, don't get under the car if you're jacking it up in the dirt! We had a new PFF member get crushed to death under his Fiero a while back.

Don't worry I know to not do that. I was trying to put it on ramps the other day but the jack wouldn't go high enough and I ended up breaking my dad's jack and now I owe him a new one. My dad said I have to use ramps because jack stands would be unsafe since it's on unstable ground. I know to never go under the car if only the jack is holding it up. My dad also said my uncle might have a jack that should be able to get it high enough off the ground to get it onto the ramps.

Hi guys, so I got me 2 totes since the old one was broken. As you can see there is quite a lot of parts. I have the air filter system along with a bunch of hoses. I have separated them into 2 totes. The first one has all of the big parts while the small one is things like bags, screws, gaskets, small parts and so on.

Like I said before though, most or the parts in this tote don't even go to my car and absolute nothing is labeled. I'll get through it all eventually though.
