No way I would put this on my Fiero.

oh, wow, what happened that made you make such a change? On my van, my TPMS light is just blank, until it lets me know about the tires.

Interesting Mods?

For basic tire pressure?

Thanks for the honest answer!

It's your car, and it would be an interesting modification.
I've seen so many problems in several different cars that it seems, to me anyway, that it would end up being more of a nuisance than a benefit.
On my different Fieros, over the years, a 2 psi difference on one corner of the car could be felt while driving.
It wouldn't be that hard to hook up, so if that's your thing, do it!

I've got a few newer vehicles that came equipped with tpms systems. In my opinion they aren't worth the added cost for the average user. If you're doing something performance related or hauling that's a different story. Does anyone check tire temperature on their rides?

Data is good but tire pressure shouldn't change significantly while in use for most people.

Ask me again once you have had them go off when the tires are the right pressure, or replace all 4 with new one, then one goes bad in a month.

"Does anyone check tire temperature on their rides?"

I don't check 'hot' pressures; I check all of my tire pressures 'cold'
Weekly on a motorcycle, monthly on a truck/car

Vintage i gotta agree with you who does check pressure anymore.

I forgot to mention for my rides you need a tpms relearn tool to know where the sensor is at.

To ME

Life is about monitoring, maintaining, fixing and building...
Owning vehicles is the same, and I also believe a lot of people are 'lazy' on this subject
Yes, I'm dinosaur and as a whole, I don't enjoy nor have confidence in auto 'modern conveniences'
As others have said, adding a TPMS is more a nuisance than a benefit, especially if isn't OEM
But like olejoedad said; "if that's your thing" so "why not", add another gadget...

Not specifically Fiero related, but I'm putting new wheels and tires on my Wrangler. I have the option to just delete the sensors and turn off TPMS altogether.
I decided to keep it, since Jeepers frequently "air down" their tires when doing offroad stuff, and then air back up when hitting the road again.
Retained it ONLY because I can change the point at which it complains. I like to run my tires softer than the manufacturer recommends.
