Sometimes it doesn't take many times for the decklid to fly up unrestricted for it to crack at the corners of the engine vent openings. Worth mentioning... the way to remove the torsion bars is sooo incredibly easy, but until you've done it once and understand how to do it... it seems crazy impossible. I felt like such an idiot after I removed one side the hard way (doing all kinds of crazy stuff), only to realize all you need to do is push back on the squared loop on the bottom, which allows you to remove the pin, and then it just comes out super easy... huge face-palm.
